About POS Enterprises

Our mission:

We are the delivery arm of the Planning Officers Society.  We share the Society’s objectives and public service ethos.  We provide cost effective, high quality support and training to local planning authorities, to help them improve and succeed in delivering their plan making, development management and other planning functions.  The services may be provided directly to individual authorities or to groupings of authorities. 

We achieve quality by working through highly experienced former senior local government planners, who are experts in their fields and understand the tensions of service delivery in a political environment.  The surpluses earned from the delivery of support go to the Society, to expand its capacity to represent and support planning authorities.

Andrew Wright General Manager

Andrew is head of consulting, developing our services and arranging delivery for individual clients. He will generally be your first point of contact. Andrew also provides business management and administrative services, including dealing with contracts and invoices.

Linda Durtnal Training and Development Manager

Linda manages our training activities, responding to enquiries and providing information about prospective courses. She will work with you to ensure that events go well on the day. Linda also supports Andrew with the development of services and organisation.
